About Dusty Rhodes Park
Dusty Rhodes Park is a park for people of all ages. Whether you want to suntan, play sports, or let your friendly fur baby romp off-leash with others in a fenced area, this is the park for you. The park is divided into two main areas, a large grassy field for everythig from sports to kite flying, and a fenced in dog park. There is even a gazebo for festivities and BBQs. The land that it sits on was donated by Mr. and Mrs. Rhodes, as a place for family and friends can gather to enjoy our wonderful weather.
Locals and visitors alike find the Dusty Rhodes Park to be a great place to be. In the late afternoon, during the school season, the large grassy field is used by youth sports practice. On weekends, you may find yourself cheering at exciting rugby matches, while watching dogs play chase and wrestle. From time to time, there are special events such as the Kiwanis Club's Annual Kite Festival, which happens to be the oldest children's kite festival in the US. There is also an annual Canine Carnival, fundraisers, and other events that are posted in the Dusty Rhodes Park calendar.
